Some things just never change!

I feel like I have 20 pictures of this same scene.  All the kids sitting with dad playing the piano.  Perhaps the only thing that changes is the number of kids that are sitting with him! It always seems like a photo op when the kids are with daddy at the piano...even if I have this same photo...20 times.

One big change has been Emma learning to walk.  She was nearly 13 months when she mastered the skill!  It is always so fun to watch these kids learn to walk.  So wobbly and so proud!  Our little Emmalyn is a spit fire!  If we thought Eliza was drama...watch out!

Dane continues to be our number whiz!  This boy loves numbers!  He can put the numbers in order from 1-50.  He can count probably to about 75ish.  He can count by tens.  He loves to talk about numbers, he loves to quiz Eliza about numbers, he notices the numbers on every sign, in the car, in our house, on his clothes tags...everywhere.

We still spend a lot of time in our sand table.  This particular morning we made moon sand.  (flour and oil)  The kids liked it for a while...it left a mess on my back porch.  Sometimes messes are worth it.  (that really should read, almost always messes are worth it)

Dane is a great big brother.  He has him moments when he enjoys terrorizing the girls, chasing them around the house, trapping them under laundry baskets.  For the most part he has learned how to play without making the girls cry...most of the time.  In this picture he is "playing" with Emma...nicely.  Emma was laughing until she started to cry.
