Dane turned THREE! He was so excited for his birthday! We started the countdown probably two weeks before his birthday. It was a frustrating lesson on patience for Dane! He made it though!
The day seemed too short!
We started with pancakes. Always a favorite!
Look at that face. He is such a big-little boy!
The day included a trip to the park to play and feed the ducks.
Nice drool!
After the park the kids (mainly Eliza) were tired. Eliza took a rest on the deck.
Emma took a rest on the carpet with her toys.
For dinner we had Dane's favorite, pizza and apple juice.
Then of course we had cake! Dane wanted a chocolate cake with chocolate icing and sprinkles. He got it!

This may or may not be the third time Dane blew the candles out.

The following day Dane invited one of his favorite friends to go bowling. Dane loved carrying his own ball to the ramp. Before when we have bowled he always needed help...he must be three!
Dane received some nice gifts including clothes, a new football, some matchbox cars, and a new shuttle toy. Matt gave Dane two bottle rockets with B-4 Engines (rockets that shoot about 100 feet). What an exciting Birthday!
