Grandma and Grandpa come for a visit

Matt's dad and mom were able to come meet Emma and be here for her baby blessing.  It was a great visit complete with lots of books, naps, shooting off rockets, a birthday party, and Emma's blessing day.    The kids loved having all the attention of Grandma and Grandpa.  Thanks for coming!

 More books being read.  The kids love having someone read to them without interruptions!

 Shooting off rockets.  This was the big debut of Dane's birthday rockets.  They shot of beautifully.  Dane was so excited!  Since then we have shot the rockets off two other times with each time getting better and better.

 Emma's Baby blessing.  The whole day was wonderful!  Church is at 8:30am so we were quick to get up, get ready and get off to the church house.  The blessing was/is simply perfect for our little Emma.  We are blessed to have our testimonies and to know where our sweet little Emma (and Dane and Eliza) come from.  So blessed they are our babies!

The yummy meal after church:  Apple, walnut, bleu cheese salad with poppy seed dressing, a beautiful fruit salad with pomegranates, and the most delicious turkey and provolone sandwiches with a cranberry and mustard spread.

It's not often that both sets of Grandparents are present for baby blessings!  What a special day for Emma!
