Kid Update: Looking out of the corner of his eye to make sure Eliza doesn't touch his car seat arm rest...yep,  definitely happening in the Bradford car.  Every time Eliza gets in her car seat she immediately reaches over and touches Dane's seat before he has a chance to get in...just to make him squeal.  The cry, "Eliza, don't touch my seat!" is something we hear often in the car.  Funny little kids.

The other day we put the baby's car seat in the car (you can bet it looks a little ridiculous or awesome with three car seats lined up in our back seat) to make sure all three car seats would fit.  After moving them all around and buckling them down I had no more energy to put them back.  So, Eliza and Dane sit next to each other.  Matt and I get a kick out of listening to Dane and Eliza squabble.  Give us a few more months/ years and we might be singing a different tune but for now it's pretty funny!

Happy Father's Day!

We had a great day to celebrate the Fathers in our lives.  Matt requested a vegetable minestrone gnocchi soup.  Always a favorite...even on a summer day! :)  The kids (slash Jeanette) gave Matt three new games to play: Hi Ho Cherry O (which Dane would play for HOURS!) Don't Spill the Beans (Eliza can even play this one with us) and the Lady Bug Game.  Matt also received a few summer shirts...that we are going to return! 

The best part of the day though...eating the Chocolate Cake for dessert.  Yes, please!

See that big board?  It can turn from a slide that we lean on the sofa, to an awesome race track, to the roof of a really cool fort.  Go pick up your board at your local Home Depot!  (It's purpose when not being played with: blocks air flow from our fireplace)  Talk about Multi-Purpose!

Dane's Latest Interest/ Obsession:  Rockets, Astronauts and Shuttles

Ever since Matt built Dane a rocket and shuttle out of legos he has been passionately interested in all things dealing with rockets and outer space.  He loves watching NASA take-offs on the computer and would watch them for hours if allowed.  He has learned to count backwards for take-offs/blast offs.     

 I am not sure there is a need for an explanation.  These kids are funny!
