It's amazing how quickly Thanksgiving came and is now gone. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Great weather, yummy food, and lots of time with our family and friends. We started our day with cinnamon rolls and reading our leaves from the Thankful Tree.
Eliza's morning nap and raking leaves followed.
Once everyone was awake and the backyard was clean we headed for the park...with 70 degree weather to enjoy! After about an hour of playing we headed home for lunch and naps.
Again, once we were all awake we made our way to our friends home for the big Thanksgiving Feast and that is exactly what it was. A HUGE FEAST. I think every dish that could be prepared for Thanksgiving was on that table. The family we ate with didn't just make the normal recipes for each dish they were family recipes, food network recipes, or dreamed up recipes. Delicious! It was fun to be surrounded by our family and so many great friends!
