Our little Lizey is two years old! How time flies! She is such a funny kid. She is smart, confident, independent, happy, opinionated, loving and brave. She can keep up with Dane but can still play the role of our sweet little Lizey. She can sing her abcs, count backwards from ten, doodle and color, she can dress herself, climb nearly anything, she has quite the repertoire of songs. She loves nursery, cheese, oatmeal, the neighbors cat, and playing with dolls. She can sit for 20+ minutes coloring, painting, doodling, drawing. She prefers to do everything by herself....everything...all the time. She is our little spit-fire. She likes to play with other kids but she likes to play alone. It is not uncommon to find her in a back room reading or playing and just happy to have a quiet moment. She can fall asleep in no time flat. She sleeps with her "daddy" book and a little stuffed camel. (this changes often but the last few weeks it has been fairly consistent) She has been such a fun girl to watch grow and learn. The last two years have been some of our best and we know it is because of our little Lizey. We are blessed to have such a great little girl!
Eliza (and Dane) have eaten oatmeal (by request) nearly every morning for the last 2 months. I bet we have had something other than oatmeal 5 times in the last 60 days. Soooooo, you would think on her big special birthday she would choose to have something special for breakfast. NOPE. Oatmeal, please!
