Life with five

Daddy and his girls.   Pretty funny picture but I have to admit seeing Matt cuddle and play with his little girls is one of the sweetest blessings of my life!

Nana came to help!!  She was able to stay for two weeks and we enjoyed every day.  We visited the farm, park, pool, grocery store, we played toys, played in the water table, cleaned the house, organized closets, and cleaned toilets!  Thanks Nana!!  I am so grateful for the help and I am sure the kids loved all the attention!
Building houses out of the blocks.  I think we played this "game" for 30 minutes.  The kids loved taking turns having their own little house to sit in.

...and they loved knocking them down.

We can't leave out our little Emma.  What a little sweetie!  She is a great little baby.  Sleeps up to 4.5 hours at night and has become a pro at eating quickly in the middle of the night and going back to sleep.  (don't be fooled, we still have nights when she thinks it's fun to sit in the dark with eyes WIDE open!)
 What a little beauty!

Last trip to the pool!  We are sad to see the pools close.  The kids have loved playing in the water this summer.  They both have become better at swimming and simply being comfortable in the water.  Matt taught Dane things like kicking his legs, reaching out and pulling the water with a cupped hand.  Eliza is a pro at going under the water, jumping in and popping back up, and she was starting to get hang of kicking her feet.  Next summer we will have one more fish to add to the crew.

Dane also started to jump off the diving board.  Way to go Dane!
 What a brave little guy!

Nana and Emma came along for our last trip to the pool.

Grandma and Grandpa Bradford sent the kiddos a box of goodies......and PEANUTS!  The kids ooh and awed over the goodies for a few minutes and then exclaimed "PEANUTS."  Thanks Grandma for the great new PJs and onesies....and the box FULL of peanuts. They spent the next 30 minutes scattering foam peanuts all over the house.  Thank goodness for vacuums.  No biggie - with two little ones (and now three) we have become accustomed to messes.

Thanks G-ma and G-pa, the kids love getting packages from you!
 I love this picture.
We are all doing great!  It is busy around here but amidst the business we have found lots of time to laugh, play, wrestle and clean a few things.   We love having little Emmalyn here.  We are loving life with five!
